Four-star OL Terrance Davis reaffirms Michigan as leader

Jim Harbaugh has already done strong work in revamping the future of the offensive line with the Class of 2016, but he may not be done yet.

Four-star offensive lineman Terrance Davis spoke to Scout on Tuesday, and the rising senior from DeMatha Catholic in Hyattsville, Maryland indicated that the Michigan Wolverines remain number one on his growing list.

Davis has long been considered as a likely get for Harbaugh and the staff, but it remains encouraging that he is publicly acknowledging the maize and blue as the front-runner. The 6-foot-4, 305-pound Davis is a consensus four-star recruit that ranks as the number two guard in the Class of 2016 according to 247Sports, and he would bolster an offensive line group that already includes Ben Bredeson, Michael Onwenu, Devery Hamilton and Erik Swenson.

Terrance Davis is electing to keep his recruitment open at this time, with suitors like Georgia, Florida, Alabama and Maryland banging down his door, but Michigan has pole position and all indications are positive.
