Stephan Blaylock is something of a divisive prospect when it comes to the 2018 recruiting class. Some pundits are (still) allowing the talented defensive back to fly under the radar but Rivals now rates the rising senior as a four-star prospect and there is certainly an upward trajectory with regard to Blaylock's prospect status.

With that in mind, Adam Gorney of Rivals brings word that Blaylock has named three frontrunners for his services and they are quite interesting. The trio includes Oregon, Nebraska and UCLA and each brings different strengths to the table.
Blaylock, who hails from Bellflower (Calif.), has direct ties to the Pac-12 as a result but he actually shed a bit of light on his thoughts concerning Nebraska when talking to Rivals.
"I don't know how this might sound but I want to see how they show the California kids love. That's a big jump for me if I'm trying to go to Nebraska so I want to see how they show me love."
There is no question that it would be a big transition for Blaylock or any other California-based prospect to spend four years in Lincoln, but there is still plenty of time for the 6'0, 175-pound defensive back to mull over his options. We do know, however, that three programs have separated from the pack and this will be an interesting process to follow in the coming days.
