Top 3 dual threat QB Kellen Mond down to two schools

The decision should be coming soon.

Earlier this month, four-star quarterback Kellen Mond announced a top three of Texas A&M, Ohio State and Auburn. He knocked off Ohio State after the Buckeyes secured a commitment from former Aggie commit Tate Martell.

The former Baylor commit spoke to Scout about the two schools left in the race and how he might fit with both schools.

"I really don't have a number one right now," Mond said. "I went to A&M last week and Auburn this week. I really just have to get back home and talk to my parents and kind of see what they feel with the environment and type of offense and just weigh everything into my decision."

 ...

"I think I fit both," Mond said. "Running the ball isn't going to hurt me, so running the ball in the Auburn offense or being a more pro quarterback in the Texas A&M offense I think I can fit both very well."

The four-star QB will definitely help out whichever school he ends up committing to and it's worth noting that Texas A&M does have a quarterback in its 2017 class while Auburn does not.
