Four-star defensive back Houston Griffith might be at the IMG Academy in Florida now, but like most players there he is not originally from Florida. In fact, he's from Chicago and that might be one reason two schools are standing out to him right now. He told 247Sports that Ohio State and Notre Dame are two schools that stand out to him.

He was on a visit to Florida State this past weekend and it seems like something might be brewing there, but he made a point to talk about Ohio State and Notre Dame despite being in Tallahassee. Griffith is ranked as the No. 7 cornerback in the class of 2018 and the No. 11 recruit in the state of Florida.
Ohio State is the heavy leader in his recruitment right now as the Buckeyes have 71 percent of the 247Sports crystal ball predictions for him while Notre Dame is behind that at 14 percent. He also holds offers from Michigan State, Arkansas, Florida, Florida State, Michigan and Nebraska among many others.
