The FanBuzz upset alert is back, and we have quite the conundrum to deal with in Week 5 of college football action.

Week 5 features three matchups between Top 10 teams, which should make for ridiculously good television. After that, though, there might be some slim pickings on major upsets, as several Top 25 teams are facing in-conference opponents that they should be able to clean up.
Nonetheless, we have three teams that we think should be on upset alert, and here they are:
No. 4 Michigan
Oct. 1 vs. No. 8 Wisconsin
Usually I wouldn't put a matchup of the No. 4 and No. 8 teams in the country on here, but this is a bit of a special circumstance. Michigan is currently favored by an enormous 11 points, so "upset" would definitely qualify in this case.
This is Michigan's first test this season against a major opponent, and Wisconsin definitely has the tools to make things difficult for the Wolverines. They are the biggest defense Michigan has faced, and Wisconsin has been good at forcing turnovers so far this season. If the Badgers can win the turnover margin, they can win the game.
No. 12 Florida State
Oct. 1 vs. North Carolina
Without Derwin James, this could be a matchup for the Florida State defense where they won't be able to keep up. North Carolina quarterback Mitch Trubisky has started to get into a bit of a groove as the starter, and the Tar Heels have all the talent on offense to pull an upset.
The good news for the Seminoles? North Carolina's rush defense can best be described as a saloon door. Dalvin Cook set a career-high in rushing yards last week against South Florida, and Cook could very well come close to setting another record if the Tar Heels continue to struggle defending the run.
No. 17 Michigan State
Oct. 1 at Indiana
This is a similar situation to what Florida State faced last week. In a somewhat challenging game on the road, how will Michigan State respond after a blowout loss the previous week?
Indiana isn't the best team, and I get that, but they did have a knack for one thing last season: keeping big games at home close. The Hoosiers played Iowa, Michigan, and Ohio State all at home last season, and they only lost each of those games by a score. If they can continue to do that, then they will eventually take a game against a tough opponent.
