I guess we know who Urban Meyer thought should be in the Playoff. Or at the very least, what the assistant who fills out Meyer's ballot thinks.

The College Football Playoff set Alabama, Ohio State, Clemson, and Washington as college football's Top 4, but Meyer's ballot for the final Coaches Poll heavily disagreed that those were the top teams. It doesn't appear that Meyer has the same affinity for Washington, as he ranked Penn State and Michigan over the Huskies.

Again, this is assuming Meyer is actually the one that does his ballot. However, with Michigan and Penn State ranked over Washington, the ballot sends a clear message about what he thinks of the Big Ten and the teams that he played against.
Of course, with Washington in the Playoff, they probably don't care about Urban Meyer's vote in the Coaches Poll.
