Looks like Bill Belichick and the North Carolina Tar Heels will be getting their close-up after all.

As relayed by Ryan Glasspiegel of Front Office Sports, a docuseries tracking Belichick's first season in Chapel Hill is on its way to Hulu. The series will be produced by EverWonder Studio, though details on a release date or storyline focus remain unclear.
This comes after months of speculation surrounding a potential behind-the-scenes project involving Belichick and UNC football.
Back in February, Glasspiegel had reported that the Tar Heels were in line to appear on HBO's offseason edition of "Hard Knocks." But just as the deal was nearing an announcement, NFL Films walked away. According to The Athletic, the decision came amid concerns related to Belichick's girlfriend, Jordon Hudson.
Hudson, 24, reportedly sought creative control and partial ownership of the series. A former Bridgewater State cheerleader, she is also listed as COO of Belichick Productions. The Athletic also noted that Hudson had been in talks with EverWonder about a similar project — the one that is now moving forward on Hulu.
It remains unknown how much creative input Belichick or UNC will have in the Hulu version. But that issue appears to be at the heart of why the "Hard Knocks" concept fell apart.
"The problem was that we control the story we need to tell here," Tar Heels general manager Michael Lombardi told The Pat McAfee Show in March. "And the story that we want to tell doesn't end after we play TCU. It's about how we're rebuilding this program, honoring the great players who came before, and bringing Saturdays back to life at Kenan Stadium. That's the story we want to tell."
Reading between the lines, it sounds like the Hulu series will follow the full 2025 season. And this time, North Carolina may just get to tell that story exactly how it wants.
