Five-star athlete Bru McCoy doesn’t have to make a commitment any time soon considering he is a 2019 recruit. However, he is looking at some schools pretty hard right now as he told 247Sports.

“The schools I’m looking hardest at right now are Oklahoma, USC, Washington, Alabama, Michigan, Notre Dame, Florida, UCLA, Ole Miss, Ohio State, Cal and Oregon,” McCoy said. “It’s early for me still and I have plenty of time to narrow things down.”

He doesn’t plan on taking any visits in the spring because he wants to get the game atmosphere for his visits and is not planning on an early commitment. The 6-foot-3, 215-pounder out of California plays both receiver and linebacker for Mater Dei High School.

He is ranked as the top athlete and the No. 8 overall recruit in the class of 2019 according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. He also has offers from Georgia, Mississippi State, Nebraska and Tennessee among others.
