Anheuser-Busch isn't wasting any time when it comes to marketing itself to the college football space. Bud Light announced that it will be releasing 26 team-specific cans throughout the country as well as teaming up with comedian Shane Gillis for promotional videos.

Nothing goes more hand-in-hand (literally) than football and beer, so the advertising campaign makes a ton of sense for Bud Light.
"College football fans are some of the most passionate, dedicated fans out there and we are so proud to partner with teams across the country to make all of the special gameday moments even easier to enjoy," said Todd Allen, SVP Marketing, Bud Light, in the press release.
The list of teams that will be represented is as follows: East Carolina, Fresno State, Georgia Southern, Iowa State, Kansas State, LSU, North Dakota State, Oklahoma State, Sam Houston State, South Dakota State, Texas Tech, University of Alabama, University of Arkansas, University of Florida University of Iowa, University of Kansas, University of Kentucky, University of Maryland, University of Missouri, University of Nevada, University of New Mexico, University of Oklahoma, University of Texas, University of Texas El Paso, University of Texas at San Antonio, University of Wyoming.
That's an impressive list of schools participating, but there are certainly some glaring omissions. The top three teams in the AP Top 25 (Georgia, Ohio State, Oregon) aren't represented nor are other Top 10 programs like Penn State, Michigan or Florida State.
Regardless, the cans are pretty slick and will certainly be perched atop some mantles across the country... as well as found crushed up throughout many, many tailgating lots at those 26 respective schools.
The aluminum cans and bottles are currently available at stores across the country.
Bud Light also debuted the first Gillis skit as part of its marketing blitz. The short video, which is titled 'The Dean's Office', shows Gillis in the title location getting people to admit their secrets, "All you have to do is confess to get a Bud Light."
The company will be releasing clips throughout the college football season with Gillis at the forefront.
