After Week 4 of the college football season it's a fair question to ask whether Georgia is still really the best team in the country. Along with that, we learned that Notre Dame couldn't line up 11 players on the field during the most crucial part of the game, Ohio State head coach Ryan Day has beef with Lou Holtz and Deion Sanders' Colorado Buffaloes were never national championship-bound.
The fact remains, though, that the Pac-12 looks as strong as ever behind a few Heisman front-runners early in the season. In our weekly top 20 power rankings, it's the Pac-12 and the Big Ten who dominate the top 10 spots.
1. Georgia Bulldogs (4-0) (Last Week: 1)

I'm not sure if the Bulldogs like to play with their food or not, but it was another slow start for Georgia this weekend that was followed up by yet another dominating second half.
2. Florida State Seminoles (4-0) (Last Week: 3)
The Seminoles jumped up one spot this week after their overtime road victory against the Clemson Tigers. There are still some things Florida State needs to clean up, but they are the clear favorite to win the ACC.
3. Texas Longhorns (4-0) (Last Week: 2)
The Texas Longhorns finally did what they were supposed to and won in a blowout without taking the game to the fourth quarter. The Longhorns will look to avoid a loss to the Kansas Jayhawks this Saturday before taking on their Red River rival.
4. Ohio State Buckeyes (4-0) (Last Week: 7)
The Buckeyes' defense is the story of this game that won with a "bend but don't break" mentality. Their offense, on the other hand, looked out of sorts. With the defenses of Michigan and Penn State later in the season, they are going to have to get things cleaned up.
5. Penn State Nittany Lions (4-0) (Last Week: 6)

The rain slowed down the passing game early on, but Drew Allar and the Nittany Lions put up 31 points in the White Out. But it was Penn State's defense who stole the show, shutting out and shutting down the Hawkeyes offense.
6. Michigan Wolverines (4-0) (Last Week: 4)
The Wolverines have done what they needed and dropped two spots but only because the teams ahead actually have impressive wins.
7. USC Trojans (4-0) (Last Week: 5)
The Trojans defense has a lot of questions on it, and when it comes to their games against Washington and Oregon, they are going to have to win in a shootout.
8. Washington Huskies (4-0) (Last Week: 9)
To me, the Huskies could be the best team in college football but will stay at the back end of the top 10 for now. However, their midseason test against Oregon is just a road game and bye week away. We'll really see how good this team is then.
9. Oregon Ducks (4-0) (Last Week: 13)
Bo Nix and the Oregon Ducks backed up all the talk in their 42-6 victory over Coach Prime and the Colorado Buffaloes. Their offense moved the ball with ease, but it was their defense that was very impressive, holding Colorado to just 199 total yards.
10. Alabama Crimson Tide (3-1) (Last Week: 10)

Alabama should have beaten Ole Miss like they did, but this game means a lot more to this team as it provides some momentum and consistency to build off.
11. Utah Utes (4-0) (Last Week: 11)
Still no Cam Rising, but the Utes still came away with the victory despite scoring just one offensive touchdown. Utah's defense could be one of the best in the country, and with Oregon State, USC, Oregon AND Washington still on their schedule, they are going to need more performances like this.
12. Notre Dame Fighting Irish (3-1) (Last Week: 8)
The Irish lost in heartbreaking fashion in a very tough and hard-fought game against Ohio State, and this will show up on the playoff resume as a quality loss if the Irish can win out with wins against Duke, USC and Clemson along the way.
13. North Carolina Tar Heels (4-0) (Last Week: 14)
The Tar Heels head into their bye week and are going to be immediately tested that following Saturday with a home game against Syracuse and then a home game against Miami the week after.
14. LSU Tigers (3-1) (Last Week: 16)
The Arkansas Razorbacks are now 2-2, but they are a lot better than their record shows. This win for the LSU Tigers against Arkansas is a good one. The Tigers go on the road and play Ole Miss this Saturday in what could be a playoff elimination game for LSU.
15. Washington State (4-0) (Last Week 19)
Cameron Ward should have an argument for being the front runner for the Heisman Trophy as Washington State comes out of Week 4 with a huge win over ranked Oregon State.
16. Duke Blue Devils (4-0) (Last Week: 18)
Mike Elko and Duke are for real, and they are going to look for one of their biggest wins in program history this Saturday as they host Notre Dame, who is licking their wounds following their loss to Ohio State.
17. Miami Hurricanes (4-0) (Last Week: NR)
The Hurricanes have a bye week this Saturday as they look to prep for the back end of their schedule with North Carolina on deck following Georgia Tech, and Clemson the week after.
18. Oklahoma Sooners (4-0) (Last Week: NR)
The Sooners offense has not been all that impressive, but their defense is one of the best in the Big 12, which is a sentence I thought I would never say. Oklahoma should take care of business against Iowa State before taking on Texas next Saturday.
19. Kansas Jayhawks (4-0) (Last Week: NR)
The Kansas Jayhawks are off to a 4-0 start for the second consecutive year, but last year they went 2-7 after that great start. The Jayhawks will look to play upset as they could have Texas in a trap game this Saturday.
20. Oregon State Beavers (3-1) (Last Week: 17)
It was a tough and heartbreaking loss for the Beavers, but they will still have plenty of opportunities on their schedule to remain in contention for a shot in the Pac-12 title game.
