The Four College Bowl Games to Watch This Christmas Weekend

The 2022-23 College Football Season is coming to it's end. With a full slate of bowl games set that are leading up to the College Football Playoff, we will have quite the season finale as we bid ado to one of the best, and crazier, seasons in recent years. So with that being said, here's what you need to know about the college bowl games this weekend!

Quick Lane Bowl: New Mexico State Aggies (6-6) vs Bowling Green Falcons (6-6)

  • New Mexico State's Last Bowl Win: 2017 Arizona Bowl
  • Bowling Green's Last Bowl Win: 2014 Camellia Bowl

For those of us with Monday off, this counts as a weekend game. Scoring 49 points in three of their final four games, the New Mexico State Aggies look to keep their offense rolling against the Bowling Green Falcons.

Prediction: New Mexico State 45, Bowling Green 23.

EasyPost Hawai'i Bowl: Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders (7-5) vs San Diego State Aztecs (7-5)

In their first ever meeting, the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders take on the San Diego State Aztecs in Honolulu, Hawai'i. This is perhaps the most evenly matched bowl game of the weekend and a perfect send off into Christmas Day.

Prediction: San Diego State 35, Middle Tennessee 24.

The Houston Cougars put their Air Raid offense to test as they take on the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns and their pass defense that has 15 interceptions on the season.

Prediction: Houston 36, Louisiana 27.

Union Home Mortgage Gasparilla Bowl: Wake Forest Demon Deacons (7-5) vs Missouri Tigers (6-6)

Despite losing four of their last five games, the Wake Forest Demon Deacons look to end their season on a high note with a bowl win over the Missouri Tigers. After the season that Sam Hartman has had, it's only fitting that he goes out with a bang.

Prediction: Wake Forest 34, Missouri 32.
