Bleacher Report just predicted a College Football Playoff disaster scenario for 2016

Chaos! Chaos is coming to the Playoff!

RELATED: Georgia projected to win the SEC

Bleacher Report released win-loss record projections for every Power 5 school on Friday, and for the most part, the projections are within the realm of reason.

The one problem, though? That realm includes a disaster scenario for the College Football Playoff.

Bleacher Report projects Clemson, Georgia, and Notre Dame to all go 11-1 in the 2016 regular season, meaning all three will be contenders for the Playoff, with Notre Dame likely locked in at that point. The problems start to arise with the teams at 10-2, as the projections have Baylor, Alabama, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Iowa, and Louisville all with 10-2 records, putting them on the brink of Playoff contention.

Here's where we can all get mad at the Big 12 for not having a conference title game.

In such a scenario, you have both Baylor and Oklahoma at 10-2. That's fine and all, as whoever won the regular season matchup between the two would likely get the nod to the College Football Playoff. However, now you have a lot to deal with when you look at the title games. If Alabama wins the SEC title game, is an 11-2 Georgia team suddenly getting shut out of the Playoff altogether? Or an 11-2 Clemson team should they lose the ACC title game? Or if Iowa wins that Big Ten title game with Ohio State, is the Playoff committee going to take Iowa over the chance at taking Oklahoma?

There is the possibility of something like this happening, and it would just wind up being an enormous mess that would leave several schools complaining. Would more people clamor for an eight-team Playoff? Or would the rest of the Power-5 conferences place the blame on the Big 12, pressuring them further to add the conference title game that they have already changed the rules for.

All we know is that if this were to happen, it is not going to be a problem that is solved easily.
