Green Bay Packers linebacker Joe Thomas Jr. got to experience a weird reality on Saturday, as Thomas got the opportunity to see his father take the football field for South Carolina State.
Thomas Sr., 55, had walked-on at South Carolina State in hopes of becoming the oldest player in college football. On Saturday, the 55-year old got his wish, as he got one carry for three yards as a running back against Savannah State.

Thomas had been on the scout team for South Carolina State for the past four seasons before finally being cleared by the NCAA a couple of weeks ago. At least for now, it looks like Thomas Sr. already has some support from the fans.
