Former Texas Tech quarterback Davis Webb was expected to transfer to Colorado earlier in the year. However, as Lee Corso would say, not so fast! According to ESPN, Webb will be transferring to California.
Webb threw for 5,257 yards and 44 touchdowns in his first two seasons in Texas Tech's offense. However, the talented quarterback was replaced by Patrick Mahomes this season, leading to his transfer at the end of the season.

As a graduate transfer, Webb will be eligible to play immediately. He will likely be favored to take the starting spot that was vacated by Jared Goff.
According to ESPN's Mel Kiper, Webb is the No. 1 ranked senior prospect at quarterback for the 2017 NFL Draft.
