After a 52-17 beating at home against Arizona, Sanders did not allow any Buffaloes players to take postgame questions. It's the first time in his three seasons that he has shut down player access.

Sanders told reporters he was not going to let anyone else take shrapnel for how bad his team looked.

"Don't attack the coordinators. Come at me. Don't attack the players. Come at me," Sanders said, via ESPN.

Colorado has now dropped four of five, and the last two have been ugly. Utah beat them by 46. Arizona beat them by 35. Sanders insists the effort is still there and says this isn't a locker room quitting on him.

"I know a quitter when I see one," Sanders said. "I haven't seen that."

Offensively, this version of Colorado has not found answers after losing Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter to the NFL. Kaidon Salter started again but was benched late in the first half.

Ryan Staub replaced him and threw two picks. That led to freshman Ju Ju Lewis entering late, a full revolving door at quarterback that produced nothing resembling momentum.

Colorado sits at 3-5, and the frustration is clearly boiling. Sanders fell on the sword Saturday night but the questions aren't going away.
