Dismissed TAMU player Kirk Merritt has reportedly transferred to a new school

He's getting a last chance.

Former Oregon and Texas A&M receiver Kirk Merritt is transferring to a junior college that should sound familiar to college football fans.

Merritt, who was dismissed from Texas A&M after he allegedly exposed himself to two tutors, is transferring to East Mississippi Community College—otherwise known as "Last Chance U."

East Mississippi Community College was popularized on the Netflix documentary "Last Chance U."

Several college and NFL players attended East Mississippi CC early in their careers, including LeGarrette Blount, Quintin Dial, Chad Kelly, Bo Wallace, and John Franklin III.

Merritt didn't contribute much on the field at Oregon or Texas A&M. He pleaded not guilty to the indecent exposure charges. He is currently awaiting trial.

Merritt was a four-star receiver out of high school according to 247Sports.
