Morris thanked his family, friends and coaches for helping him with the recruiting process.
"This has been a very incredible journey and I'm extremely grateful for the opportunities it has provided," Morris said. "With that being said, I would like to announce that I am furthering my academic and athletic career at The University of Washington! Go Dawgs!!"
Morris chose Washington over Notre Dame, Oregon and Washington State.
According to 247Sports, Morris is the No. 3 pro-style quarterback in the Class of 2018, and he is the No. 1 player from the state of Washington. The 6-foot, 177-pound prospect is the No. 41 overall player in his class.
Current Washington starter Jake Browning will be a junior next season, and it's highly possible he could enter the NFL Draft if he has another season as successful as his sophomore campaign. If that's the case, Morris could have the opportunity to start during his freshman season for the Huskies.
