Embattled LB Reuben Foster says he hung up on a team that wanted to pick him

I guess he didn't know how to break the news.

It looks like former Alabama linebacker Reuben Foster had some tough decisions to make during the first round of the NFL Draft on Thursday.

Foster, who was selected 31st in the Draft by the San Francisco 49ers after a trade, was officially introduced by the team with No. 3 overall pick Solomon Thomas on Friday. In the interview with the media, Foster recounted how he was on the phone with the Saints at the time, who were expecting to pick him with the 32nd pick.

Then the 49ers swept in.

Foster straight up admits that after the 49ers told them he wanted them, he hung up on the Saints even though New Orleans was expecting to take him with the next pick. He didn't know how to break the news to New Orleans, so he just let Roger Goodell do it at the podium.

Hilarious.
