ESPN writer Ryan McGee was on Cole Cubelic's radio show on Tuesday morning, and McGee expects one major upset early in the 2017 season: Auburn defeating Clemson at Clemson in the second week of the season.

Now there is some decent reason to this. Auburn should be improved in the 2017 season, and Clemson is likely to take a step back without quarterback Deshaun Watson at the helm. However, it would still be a surprise to see Clemson fall so early in the season, especially at home.

If Clemson does lose that game, it could be the first hit on what is a difficult schedule for the Tigers. Clemson plays at Louisville the very next week, and then at Virginia Tech in Week 5. This is all before the Tigers take on Florida State later in the season, too.

2017 could certainly be an interesting college football season, folks.
