ESPN has had a lot of turnover in Bristol recently, leaving meany spots open to be filled on television. For now, it looks like they have filled at least one.
The TV station announced on Thursday that former Alabama quarterback Greg McElroy will be joining long-time ESPN play-by-play man Dave Pasch in the booth for both ABC and ESPN college football games. Reporter Allison Williams will also be joining college football Saturday for ESPN as a sideline reporter.
ESPN also announced that Pasch and commentator Bob Wischusen have received extensions to their contracts.

"Dave and Bob will again be front and center on high impact games in key ESPN and ABC timeslots for us," ESPN producer Lee Fitting said in a press release. "We look forward to seeing Greg and Allison in their new roles."
The new lineups come after ESPN has lost a ton of talent over the past few months. Those losses include Mike Tirico, Skip Bayless, Heather Cox, and Joe Schad.
The losses have clearly hurt the network, but this is a big opportunity for McElroy, who has shown to be a solid analyst since joining the SEC Network in 2014. McElroy entered the television game after his NFL career faltered, only playing three seasons professionally. Of course, this came after winning a BCS National Championship with Alabama in 2009.
