ESPN continues to shuffle CFB announcer teams with new addition

ESPN might be doing this a lot more this fall.

ESPN continues to shuffle around its college football and NFL announcing teams because of all the departures recently. Mike Tirico jumping ship for NBC prompted the initial shuffle and Brad Nessler started it on the college football front for the network.

The Big Lead reported Wednesday that late night SportsCenter host Steve Levy will move into a college football role this fall, calling games for ESPN's No. 3 team. Kirk Herbstreit and Chris Fowler will remain calling with the No. 1 team and SEC Network's Joe Tessitore will jump into the No. 2 team slot, likely teaming with Todd Blackledge.

We are going to see a very different look and sound for ESPN come fall and football time. We'll find out soon enough how much ESPN will be hurting or if this will actually work out for the network.
