Looks like ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit has four teams that he loves after Week 1 of the season.

On Tuesday, Herbstreit named Alabama, Ohio State, Clemson, and Penn State — in that order — as the top teams in college football.

Herbstreit followed up by saying that Michigan and USC are the first two teams after his top four.

The teams that may legitimately have a gripe here are both out of the Big 12: Oklahoma and Oklahoma State rolled in their Week 1 games against admittedly weak talent, but some could argue that they are above Michigan or Penn State at this point. Having three Big Ten teams above any Big 12 team is certainly going to rub some people the wrong way.
