For football fans specifically, this would be fantastic news that would definitely improve the game experience. Commercialization has really started to dominate football on television, with college games often running up against the four-hour mark in total time. That television experience bleeds over into the in-game experience itself, as both fans and the teams involved in games are often just left waiting for a commercial break to end.
As a sports fan, hopefully this is something that ESPN decides to move forward with. It would really put pressure on the other sports networks, and it would improve the experience for sports fans all around.
