ESPN's FPI now has a 2-loss team over undefeated Washington

Washington beat Utah 31-24 on Saturday.

It appears that ESPN's Football Power Index (FPI) isn't the biggest fan of Washington.

The Huskies rank seventh in the latest edition of FPI, which is the lowest of the Power 5 undefeated teams. Washington is also behind one-loss Louisville, Ohio State, and... two loss Auburn?

Yep.

Washington currently ranks low in strength of schedule, which really hurts their cause when compared to a team like Auburn. Auburn has already played Clemson, Texas A&M, LSU, Arkansas, and Ole Miss, which pretty much dwarfs anyone that Washington has played this year. (sorry, Utah)

Still, it seems weird to see a two-loss team over a squad that has been called the "most complete" in the country. Washington won't have to worry, obviously, as they will get into the Playoff if they win-out and win the Pac-12 title game. Of course, they will have to worry if they drop a game, as their resume might not be good enough to rebound this late in the year.
