ESPN's Heisman Watch yields a new No. 1 after Week 2

All aboard the hype train!

It appears the Lamar Jackson hype train has taken off with full steam.

Going into the season, Leonard Fournette was almost a near consensus favorite, with Clemson's Deshaun Watson and Stanford's Christian McCaffrey right on his heels. For now, though, Jackson has taken a commanding lead in Heisman watch lists, including the one from ESPN.

Georgia running back Nick Chubb had actually jettisoned to the No. 1 spot after last week, but it looks like he got penalized for a mediocre performance against Nicholls State.

It will be interesting to see how this changes next week, as Jackson takes on another quarterback on this list: Deondre Francois of the No. 2 Florida State Seminoles. Either of those quarterbacks could have a "Heisman moment" statement game, as the matchup between FSU and Louisville is definitely the game with the biggest impact on this young 2016 season.
