Former NFL star wide receiver Antonio Brown made a bold prediction ahead of the Notre Dame vs. Penn State matchup on Thursday night, as he said the Fighting Irish will win 27=23.

That is to say, surprisingly he was just one point off as the Fighting Irish won the late-game thriller 27-24 over the Nittany Lions, after Mitch Jeter kicked the game-winning field goal with 10 seconds left.

Many fans were surprised by how close AB was to guessing the exact result, as some may even have been thinking that he had access to the script.
Is CTE a mental advantage? Have we been wrong this whole time?

All in all, there was one fan who one-upped the 7x Pro Bowler, as a girl let Brown know that she guessed 100% correctly.
"Nice call, but you're off by one point," @KenzieMarieInWA wrote on X.
Here we go, CFP time!
My official prediction (not to be taken remotely serious):
Notre Dame 27

Brown also recently made headlines after announcing he was signing Chinese-born player Charles Du to a NIL deal, so it appeared that he was rooting for Notre Dame.
Excited to announce I’ve signed an NIL deal with CTESPN & @ab84 @nypost has it wrong… spoiled?? No way

In view of the game Brown predicted, both teams relied on their defense.
To point out, Penn State didn't complete one pass to a wide receiver in the whole game. That is, NFL Draft prospect tight end Tyler Warren had six catches for 75 yards, while running back Nicholas Singletary had 15 carries for 84 yards and three rushing touchdowns.
Quarterback Drew Allar had 125 passing yards and one late-game interception with 33 seconds left, that might have cost Penn State a chance at a national title appearance.

On the other hand, Notre Dame senior quarterback Riley Leonard threw for 223 yards to go with one touchdown and two interceptions.
Powerful: Notre Dame QB Riley Leonard gives all the credit to Jesus for their win:
"Shoot, I just trusted in the Lord. I looked up and said, 'Jesus, whatever your will is for my life, I trust it 100 percent.'"
What a role model 🙏❤️

Now Brown will have another prediction to foretell, as Notre Dame advances to the national championship game, and will play against the winner of the Ohio State vs. Texas Cotton Bowl matchup.
