Georgia State appeared to be on the brink of making a splash, with significant names rumored around their head coaching opening.

That was at least until Friday afternoon, when one fan found the Georgia State job listing on Indeed.

We guess you’ve got to start somewhere, but you won’t see high-profile openings listed on a job site.

A simple search for “football head coach” on Indeed brought back results for mostly high schools and a few smaller colleges mixed in. For a school that is reportedly targeting high-profile names such as Auburn offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee, Clemson co-offensive coordinator Jeff Scott and Stanford offensive coordinator Mike Bloomgren, it’s quite embarrassing.

One step forward, two steps back, huh?
