The on-field workouts for the 2016 NFL Scouting Combine kick off this Friday, and a number of former college football players will be looking to make their NFL dreams a reality. One of the most popular, and sometimes one of the most crucial on-field events that participants go through is the 40-yard dash. The player who owns the current record for the fastest 40-yard dash time is Arizona Cardinals running back Chris Johnson, who ran a 4.24 40-yard dash in 2008 before getting drafted by the Tennessee Titans in the first round.
