Five-star cornerback Darnay Holmes (5-foot-11, 180 pounds, Calabasas, CA) is one of the top recruits of the 2017 recruiting cycle. In fact, he's the No. 1 rated cornerback and No. 6 overall recruit over at 247Sports.
That should make fans of the following schools extremely excited.
According to an interview with Rivals.com, Holmes will be taking visits to UCLA, Nebraska, Arizona, Arizona State, Stanford, Texas A&M, and Tennessee. Apparently A&M and Tennessee are relative newcomers in the recruiting process to Holmes, but apparently he is impressed enough with what he has heard that he wants to make a visit.
Holmes may also be paying visits to Ohio State and Washington.
Holmes appears to be taking his time with his commitment, which should be good news for any team that still wants to take a shot at one of the biggest prospects for college football. UCLA appears to be the current favorite.
