Patrick Surtain Jr. is one of, if not the most, coveted recruits in the class of 2018 as he's ranked as the top cornerback and is a top-5 recruit overall according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings. He was at The Opening in Oregon and spoke to 247Sports about his recruitment.

The Fort Lauderdale, Fla. native says he is going to visit USC next week, but is also hoping to get to some other schools soon. He doesn't have all five visits scheduled, but he does know a few of the schools who will be getting a visit from him.
"Ohio State, Clemson, Florida State, LSU, those schools will get visits but I don't know who else," he said. He also said that LSU is his leader, but it's a close race right now.
The 6'2", 181-pound CB has been invited to the U.S. Army All-American Bowl for his senior season because of his stellar play. He's got over 30 offers from schools and some of those include: Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Florida, Michigan and plenty of others.
Surtain said that he will either commit during the season or on National Signing Day, but he knows he wants to take his official visits before he does make his decision.
