Five-star class of 2018 defensive end K.J. Henry provided a major update in his recruiting process Thursday.
Henry, who listed his top 10 schools earlier this spring, confirmed that he'll be trimming the list to five this summer and ultimately decide in December as he plans to enroll at whichever school he chooses early.
Via 247sports:
"Clemson, 'Bama, Georgia, Virginia Tech, South Carolina, and Penn State, I feel like those are six out of the 10 still on me hard right now," Henry said. "I'll cut to five this summer, and those will be the five official visits I'll take in the fall since I plan to enroll early."
Henry may have already revealed who his top six is right now by mentioning who is recruiting him the hardest: Clemson, Alabama, Georgia, Penn State, South Carolina and Virginia Tech.
The West Forsyth high school star still is expected to commit to the Clemson Tigers, as 247sports gives the Tigers a 100 percent chance of landing him in their Crystal Ball Predictions.
Georgia and Alabama are both listed as schools still showing 'warm' interest in the five-star prospect, though.
Henry is the No. 18 overall prospect in the class of 2018.
