This weekend is one of the most important recruiting periods of the year ahead of the dead period during bowl games. This isn't just for the current class either, as the 2018 class is starting to emerge in recruiting importance as well.

Defensive back Derrik Allen (6-foot-1, 205 pounds, Marietta, Ga.) is a five-star recruit of the 2018 class, and he already has 33 offers despite being over a year away from the 2018 National Signing Day. Allen did make some important cuts on those offers, though, as he released his personal Top 10 on Sunday.

Those 10 schools: Georgia, Michigan, Ohio State, Florida State, California, Notre Dame, Penn State, N.C. State, North Carolina, and Clemson.
