Five-star QB and TAMU decommit Tate Martell releases new Top 7

He has a new Top 7 and potentially a new favorite.

Five-star quarterback Tate Martell (5-foot-11, 203 pounds, Las Vegas, NV) shocked the recruiting world earlier this month when he announced his intention to reopen his recruitment and decommit from Texas A&M.

On Tuesday, Martell updated the world on his recruiting favorites, releasing his Top 7 teams on Twitter.

The teams are a bit of a mixed bag from all over the country: USC, UCLA, Colorado, Miami, West Virginia, California, and Ohio State. You may notice, Texas A&M is not on the list, but Colorado and West Virginia are; not exactly the schools that often get five-star recruits.

Martell is a dual-threat quarterback, and as a five-star, is one of the most coveted players of the 2017 recruiting cycle. As for now, it is figured that Ohio State is the current favorite.
