Five-star, No. 1 dual threat QB Justin Fields has 7 schools standing out after recent decommit

This could be huge.

Justin Fields is one of the hottest commodities right now in the recruiting class of 2018 as he's a five-star quarterback and a dual-threat at that. He spoke to 247Sports about his commitment after he recently decommitted from Penn State about a week ago. The nation's No. 3 overall recruit said that there are seven schools in his top tier right now.

"Georgia, Florida State, Florida, Auburn, North Carolina, Ole Miss and Alabama a little bit. I just don't talk to the (Alabama) coaches as much as the others."

He also mentioned that Georgia, Florida and Florida State are recruiting him the hardest right now. The Kennesaw, Ga. native also said that he wanted to get to Gainesville for a visit this summer to be with the coaches if that's any hint. His sister also plays softball at Georgia so they are believed to have an in as well.

The 6'3", 221-pound Fields also has offers from over 30 schools including LSU, Michigan State, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia among others.
