There have been a ton of questions about some of Alabama's five-star recruits recently, and quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has been one of those biggest questions marks.
Questions about his committal to the Tide emerged after Ed Orgeron and LSU pitched Tagovailoa an offer earlier this week. Many wondered if Lane Kiffin leaving Alabama for LSU could bring Tagovailoa to Baton Rouge, but according to SEC Country, it could actually be the exact opposite.
"If Sarkisian was still at USC, I think we would have committed to USC," Tagovailoa's father told SEC Country. "That's how good of a relationship we have with him."

Sarkisian was the head coach at USC, but he was dismissed after he reportedly showed up to practices while intoxicated. Sarkisian is now an analyst with Alabama, and it is very possible that he would take over for Kiffin as Alabama's offensive coordinator should Kiffin leave for another school.
In the end, the good news for Alabama seems to be that one of their prized recruits of the 2017 class is safe in Tuscaloosa.
