It looks like National Signing Day gave ESPN's Mark Schlabach a renewed opinion of at least one team.

Florida State is now up to No. 2 in Schlabach's "way-too-early" rankings for next season, jumping from No. 6 after an impressive showing on National Signing Day. The Seminoles ended up with the No. 1 rated recruiting class for 2016 by ESPN's recruiting services, apparently giving them enough of a boost for Schlabach to see them as a legitimate national title contender.
Of course, for someone to make that kind of gain, one top team had to take a bit of a tumble. For Schlabach, that team was Clemson. The Tigers turned in the No. 8 ranked recruiting class according to ESPN, but apparently that was not enough for them to maintain their No. 1 spot in the way-too-early rankings. They are now ranked No. 5, and Alabama is the new No. 1.
Houston is the highest rated non-Power 5 team in the rankings at No. 11. The Cougars impressed everyone in 2015 with a 13-1 record, including a win over the aforementioned Florida State in the Peach Bowl.
