Florida State loses another starter to injury, this time for the season

More bad news for Florida State.

Florida State can't catch a break on defense with regards to injuries.

Safety Derwin James is already out, and now the Seminoles take another loss to the secondary with a pectoral injury to safety Nate Andrews. Head coach Jimbo Fisher announced on Tuesday that Andrews has a partially torn pectoral that will require surgery. He will miss the remainder of the season.

Andrews has played in four games this season, accumulating 18 total tackles and an interception. According to the Orlando Sentinel, Florida State will explore medical redshirt options for Andrews.

Florida State will be taking on Wake Forest on Saturday.
