Former 5-star DT announces the five contenders he’ll visit as a transfer student

He's going to make one of those schools incredibly happy.

Breiden Fehoko is a former five-star defensive tackle from Hawaii and originally committed to the Texas Tech Red Raiders in 2014 (for the 2015 class). He has spent the last two seasons in Lubbock, but is now looking for a change of scenery.

Fehoko is taking five visits to the likes of Auburn, Louisville, Ole Miss, LSU and Georgia before he makes another commitment in April. He just finished a visit to Auburn and came away impressed with the atmosphere and family feel as he told Scout.

"I really was speechless. I really enjoyed everybody. I enjoyed the hospitality. Second, I really enjoyed how everybody was really transparent and just real honest about seeing me play here and how they can better my skill set and how they develop me as a football player. Everybody was just so blunt and straight out.

Being this is my first visit, it sets the bar really high for other schools. This time around, it's a business decision. Everybody here says 'Auburn family' and when I finally got out here to see it, I've really seen it. I think the bar has been set pretty high, and Auburn really answered a lot of questions for me and I really enjoyed my visit here."

The Hawaii native also said that Auburn even laid out a plan how he could improve while on campus and make better use of his massive 6-foot-3, 305-pound frame. Fehoko will have to sit out a year per NCAA transfer rules and will be eligible to play in 2018. He combined for 38 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, and 2.0 sacks in two seasons with the Red Raiders.
