Former five-star running back Derrick Green, the No. 4 back in the 2013 class, has been granted his transfer from Michigan to TCU.
At 5'11" and 234 pounds, Green had 212 carries over his career with Michigan, totaling 898 yards and seven touchdowns. As a graduate transfer, he'll be eligible to line up immediately behind either sophomore Foster Sawyer or highly-touted incoming Texas A&M transfer Kenny Hill.
With standout running back Aaron Green now with the St. Louis Rams in the NFL, door is open for Derrick Green to take over the starting gig.
