Former Texas Tech starting QB Davis Webb has officially transferred

One Pac-12 team just gained some much needed offense.

According to Fox Sports, former Texas Tech starting quarterback Davis Webb will transfer to Colorado. Webb should be eligible to play immediately as a graduate transfer.

Webb had been considering Auburn, even planning an official visit with the school. Auburn, suffering through many quarterback woes between Jeremy Johnson and Sean White in the 2015, had enough quarterbacks at that position with John Franklin III transferring to the school, too. For Webb, he will likely get more — if not all — of the playing time at quarterback for the Buffaloes.

Colorado sure could use Webb, too. The Buffaloes finished 93rd in scoring offense in 2015, and they finished next to last in the Pac-12 with a 1-8 in-conference record.

Davis can't fix the whole team, obviously, but he is a proven talent that can certainly help the school get better.
