Four football players are now facing felony charges after an alleged assault

The charges date back to an incident in March.

Four members of the Western Kentucky football team are facing felony charges from an incident dating back to March.

The players — running back Quinton Baker, wideout Xavier Lane, linebacker Tyler Obee and defensive lineman Cecil Stallings — are facing assault charges for a frat house brawl that was captured on video obtained by TMZ.

The charge, "first degree complicity to wanton endangerment", is a felony in Kentucky. The charge carries a sentence of up to six years in prison.

Two other players, defensive lineman Christopher Johnson and wide receiver Jachour Pearson, are facing a separate misdemeanor charge. Former Western Kentucky player Andrew O'Bryan is also facing misdemeanor charges.

According to Yahoo, all six players have been suspended indefinitely.
