It looks like one recruit is another step closer to making a commitment.
Four-star defensive end Michael Allen (6-foot-6, 241 pounds, Buford, GA) has cut his list down to six from eight teams.
Those that made the cut: Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, Tennessee, USC, and Wake Forest. According to SEC Country, Georgia Tech and N.C. State were the two teams that got cut.

Allen has mixed ratings across the recruiting services, but he is ranked a four-star by Rivals. As of Saturday, the Crystal Ball over at 247Sports has Georgia as the favorite, as it gives the Bulldogs a 100-percent changes to land the defensive end.
