Four-star athlete Lynn Bowden (6-foot-1, 185 pounds, Youngstown, OH) was considered a near-lock to commit to Ohio State, but at least for now, the Buckeyes are not in his Top 2. In fact, Bowden's two leading teams are not what you would usually expect for a blue-chip recruit.
From Rivals:
"Right now who's leading is Indiana and West Virginia," Bowden said.
The 6-foot, 185-pound Bowden has already made one visit to Indiana, and Bloomington is the destination for his next college visit.
Bowden really burst onto the recruiting scene last year during his junior season, so not every top school has reached out to the now consensus four-star recruit. It's still early in the recruiting process, so maybe Bowden walks away with someone else, but this has the potential to be a huge pickup for either Indiana or West Virginia.
