Four-star athlete Maleik Gray is the 55th ranked player in the class of 2017 and is considered the second-best athlete in the class and third-best player in the state of Tennessee. He named his top three schools and they are not your average, middle-of-the-road Group of Five schools.
The 6'1", 195-pound product out of LaVerne, Tennessee is believed to be favoring Florida State, but did have a nice visit with Alabama this weekend.
All it takes is one good visit from Saban to change a recruit's mind so that should definitely be something to keep an eye on. Butch Jones can recruit with the best of them though and has been known to keep talent in-state so this recruiting battle could be heating up.
