This is quickly becoming a trend for this year.

On Friday night, four-star Dashaun Jerkins (5-foot-11, 178 pounds, Woodbridge, Va.) announced that he had committed to Vanderbilt.

“After having a great camp tonight, followed by a great conversation with my coaches and parents, I would like to announce that I will be attending Vanderbilt University after my senior year!”

Jerkins ranks as a four-star by both the 247Sports player rankings and Scout.

Vanderbilt is putting together quite the class for 2018, as they already have 11 commitments, including six (SIX!) recruits who rank as a four-star by at least one recruiting service. Vanderbilt now ranks in fifth in the SEC in the recruiting rankings by 247Sports.
