It wasn't long after he announced the decommit that Jones announced that he had received an offer from Oklahoma.

Oklahoma is now considered one of the favorites to land Jones, along with Texas and LSU. Jones is rated as a four-star recruit and the No. 11 overall defensive end in the 2017 class by Rivals.com.
