It looks like this recruit got the offer he's been waiting for all along.
Four-star defensive end Elijah Conliffe (6-foot-4, 305 pounds, Hampton, VA) picked up an offer from a visit with Alabama last week. According to Rivals.com, that offer immediately jettisoned the Crimson Tide to the top of Conliffe's list.
"Based on this visited I think Alabama has taken over the list," said Conliffe. "Ole Miss, Oklahoma, Penn State, and USC are right behind them. I might take some more visits before the season.

Conliffe — a four-star according to 247Sports — has been picking up traction on the recruiting trail recently. He's started to put some more weight on, so there is a chance he is angling to play more defensive tackle in college over defensive end.
Conliffe tweeted last month that he would release his final list on September 9, so a commitment likely won't come until after that date. As of now, though, it looks like a potential commitment definitely favors the Crimson Tide.
