Four-star DT Fred Hansard names his Top 7 teams

Where will the 6-foot-3, 300-pounder go?

Four-star defensive tackle Fred Hansard (6-foot-3, 305 pounds, Princeton, NJ) is one of the biggest recruits of the 2017 recruiting class. On Thursday, Hansard released the Top 7 teams for his recruitment.

That is — in apparently no order — Pittsburgh, Ohio State, Michigan, Tennessee, Florida, Penn State, and Rutgers.

247Sports lists Rutgers as one of the favorites, so it will be interesting to see how the local Scarlet Knights impact Hansard's recruiting. Former Ohio State coach Chris Ash — now the head man for Rutgers — has a lot of power in this particular case, and he could be looking at landing one of the biggest recruits in recent memory for the Rutgers program.

Hansard will announce his decision on May 14, which is his 18th birthday.
