It looks like four-star athlete Greg Johnson is getting closer to a commitment.
In an interview with Rivals, three schools were identified as the frontrunners for Johnson: USC, Nebraska, and Oregon. Johnson has already taken an official visit to Nebraska, and he will be taking visits to both Oregon and USC before National Signing day.

Johnson was previously committed to Arizona for eight months before decommitting at the end of the season. USC is currently listed as the leader per 247Sports, but Oregon could make a major play here at the end. Johnson mentioned in his Rivals interview that he doesn't know much about new Oregon head coach Willie Taggart, so Taggart will have a real chance to impress right before signing period comes around.
According to the 247Sports Composite, Johnson is the No. 1 athlete of the 2017 class.
