Four-star offensive tackle Erik Swenson (6-foot-7, 285 pounds, Downers Grove, IL) suddenly decommitted from Michigan on Wednesday, citing that his scholarship had been pulled by the program apparently without warning.

Two Michigan bloggers caught up to Swenson to break down exactly what happened.
Swenson had been committed to Michigan since 2013, so this certainly must be a shock for him, as he will have to scramble to find a new program before National Signing Day on February 3. While there is clearly another side of this story to be told, this still is not a good look for Jim Harbaugh, and it shows some of the sometimes nasty, unfortunate sides of the recruiting trail.
